Meet the founder

Betty Ivey, CEO

Betty Ivey founded Ivey Alliance to help leaders and organizations do GREAT things.

Her path to leadership is grounded in resilience, purpose, and a deep belief in the remarkable capacity of people. As a first-generation college graduate, she learned to navigate complex systems and build success through perseverance, authentic relationships, and a commitment to supporting others.

These experiences reinforce her conviction that leaders achieve remarkable results when they have clarity, trusted partnership, and the right support to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Betty brings a deep interdisciplinary background in psychology, education, and leadership--with degrees from the University of Maryland-College Park, Johns Hopkins University, and the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and proudly serving as a Teach for America alumnus.
